Where do you deliver and how much does furniture delivery cost ?
Our couriers deliver larger furniture throughout Mainland England & Wales for a flat fee of £60 - this will automatically be applied at the checkout.
Free delivery on smaller items
Smaller items will be delivered FREE OF CHARGE using one of the main U.K couriers (Evri, DPD, DHL). A tracking number will be emailed to you once the item has been posted. Deliveries usually take between 3-6 working days.
SCOTLAND
Delivery to Mainland Scotland is charged on an individual quote basis. Please email hello@thevintageallure.co.uk with your full address, along with web-links to the item/s you are interested in, and we'll get a quote for you.
IRELAND
Unfortunately, we do not currently deliver here.
OVERSEAS
We regret that at this time we cannot deliver orders outside of the Mainland UK.
How long does furniture delivery take ?
Mainland England & Wales orders we aim to deliver within 10 working days. This is based on your availability and flexibility. Busy periods like Xmas, New Year and Bank Holidays may take longer. Deliveries to London & most major towns/cities are scheduled weekly.
How does the furniture delivery service work ?
The Vintage Allure work with a network of third party couriers who are experienced at delivering large/furniture items across the mainland UK. They are fully insured and will blanket wrap/strap your items securely during transit.
Once you have placed your furniture order we will book the courier and send them your address/contact details. The courier will then contact you directly (within 2-5 working days) to confirm a date/time-frame for the delivery.
Deliveries are usually carried out by one-person, so some assistance may be required at your end please. Items are delivered 7 days a week so some flexibility is needed.
Please advise if you have any special requirements (i.e. if you need a two-person delivery, or help upstairs to another floor) and we will try our best to arrange this for you (please note that we may have to charge more for these extra services).
Delivery Turnaround Times for in-stock items: usually 1-2 weeks (depending on your area/availability)
Delivery Turnaround Times for Bespoke/Made-to-Order items: 2-8 weeks (depending how busy we are)
Please note: It is the responsibility of each customer to ensure that the item ordered will fit through all access points and into the space intended. Sorry, but items cannot be returned because they do not fit
