A stylish mid-century modern two drawer desk by Crusader, St James Square, London. Crusader made decent quailty desks and this one is an unfussy well-designed piece with a good glow to the oak. Often referred to as a “Teacher's Desk”, this would have started life in an office rather than home. The desk still possesses its original brass lock escutcheons and the drawers have a nice step on the lower lip.
